How do you bleed the brakes on a motorbike?

My Son has a motorbike the front breaks where jamed so i loosend the nipple on the caliper and they freed. now I cant bleed them. There seems to be a resavuor by the brake handle and on there is a little screw where it says bleed and fill here. What is the procedure for bleeding these type of brakes? How do you bleed the brakes on a motorbike?Get a brake bleeder kit at you local automotive store and attach hose to caliper bleeder , Keep bleeding via bleeder until master has fluid in it and you don't notice any air in the master.

Then just top off to required height.

Otherwise you'll need to fill master and squeeze brake lever approximately 3-4 times, while holding break lever. Have some one crack the bleeder at the caliper . Repeat procedure until all air is out.

I found the easiest way is the back bleeding method. How do you bleed the brakes on a motorbike?undo the top of the brake reservoir top it up run a windscreen washer pipe from the blead nipple up past the top of the reseivoir open the blead nipple %26amp; pump %26amp; top up untill the pipe is full %26amp; no air in the pipe close the nipple %26amp; try the brakes it should workHow do you bleed the brakes on a motorbike?make sure the lower end is secure and open the top, pour in enough brake fluid to top . Wait a few minutes and repeatedly apply the brakes.

Since the system is closed and tiny, it's going to take a lot of patience.

Air rises and it must be displaced by fluid.........Your waiting on bubbles to rise.

You may also be running into a bad check valve, the original reason for the failure.
