If you can find a buddy to help you ( dont over look Dad or Grandfathers ) you could do it in about 1/2 an hour .Cheapest way to fix 93 mustang front brakes?autozone.com or your local auto parts. scraping brakes may need rotors replaced but you can just put the pads on and do the rotors SOON another time. the pads again will have to be changed and if real bad scoring is on the rotor it may pull to that side or wheel lock on slippery surface, that may cause a spin out .(Accident)Cheapest way to fix 93 mustang front brakes? If your brake pads just started rubbing and making noise, you have to change out your brake pads as soon as possible to prevent further degradation of your rotors. If you get brake pads get the good ones like Wagner or Bendix because they will last, unlike the cheaper versions. Just from personal experience stay away from all Autozone brake pads they are junk and are made of inferior materials and they don't hold up.
