How do you make adjustment of the front brakes on a chevy caviler 2005 so you have stiffer breaking?

The front brakes are pads and i am looking to bake them stiffer. How do you make adjustment of the front brakes ?You can't adjust front brakes. You can however adjust rear drum brakes which WILL make the pedal stiffer. How do you make adjustment of the front brakes ?as far as i know u cant and you wouldnt want to

its a cavalier for gods sake

maybe there is some other problem with your car and you are not able to explain it properly

maybe there is a problem with a soft pedal and that would be air in the system but there is no reason to have air in the system unless there is something wrong with they braking system that is allowing air to get in it.

take it to a good mechanic that is A.S.E. Recertified.

they should be able to help you out and get your brakes working properlyHow do you make adjustment of the front brakes ?You probably have an %26quot;abs%26quot; braking system. They are not adjustable, except to replace the pads and make sure the fluid reservoir is full. If you are having trouble stopping check the pads and fluid and if they are ok then take it to a brake shop. How do you make adjustment of the front brakes ?Disc brakes are self-adjusting.
