If you decide to take it to a shop at least do some research on your parts. I like rockauto.com, simple drop down menus. It's not uncommon for brake shops to charge a hundred bucks for a $15 part. Don't pay it. Tell them to lower their price or ask if they'll install a part you buy yourself.
